Former Linklaters Arbitration Co-Head Launches Own Firm in Paris

Linklaters former global arbitration co-head Pierre Duprey has launched a new law firm in Paris.

The new firm, ADF Avocats, enters the market less than a year after Duprey left Linklaters.

Duprey had acted as Linklaters global arbitration co-head for five years, and been a partner at the firm since 2013.

A former partner at elite French firm Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier, where he practiced for 18 years, Duprey has been regularly appointed as an arbitrator for ad hoc and institutional arbitrations by the ICC, UNCITRAL and other bodies, according to his LinkedIn profile.

He began his practice in 1992 at Gide Loyrette Nouel.

In October last year, two Linklaters partners in London and Moscow quit the firm to launch their own London practice focusing on international financing transactions.
