Health Secretary Steve Barclay grilled about NHS by ill child’s mother

Stephen Barclay was told by the mother of a child with cystic fibrosis that she was scared for “the length” of her daughter’s life.

Mr Barclay defended the government, saying that an extra £6.6bn for NHS England over the next two years was announced in the Autumn Statement.
